Hi, I'm Kasthuri Jayarajah.

I'm a PhD student in the School of Information Systems, Singapore Management University, working in the areas of socio-physical sensing and pervasive computing. I'm advised by Assoc. Prof. Archan Misra (SMU). Previously, I was advised by Prof. Cecilia Mascolo at the Computer Laboratory, University of Cambridge (Summer 2017) and by Jenniffer Mankoff and Anind Dey during my exchange at the Carnegie Mellon University, in Fall 2016.

My research is generously supported by the A*Star Graduate Scholarship (with co-supervision from Dr. Shonali Krishnaswamy [2014-2016] and Dr. Liu Guimei [2016-2018]) and the Google Women Techmakers Scholarship (APAC).

I received my Masters degree in Computing from the National University of Singapore, in 2013, and Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2010. Prior to joining the PhD programme, I was a Research Engineer at the Living Analytics Research Center at SMU. My current research focuses on understanding human behavior through the fusion of physical and social analytics.
